The Benefits
The Good
I was married for 4 years.
I have 2 amazing kiddos (Carter & Georgina). I love to coach my son in any sport he plays.
I’m a graduate of the USAFA (where I played varsity football). I’m a Disabled Veteran. I have world-class experience in Supply Chain Management & Operations.
The Bad
I met my ex-wife on Tinder & then Bumble (if you know, you know). We didn’t have much of a courting period due to an unplanned pregnancy.
I adamantly believed being a husband & “Deda” / “Boodada” (as my kids call me) was going to be easy.
I played more junior varsity than varsity during my USAFA football days. I was a procurement guy over the first half of my career, which wasn’t that sexy.
The Ugly
I didn’t know my ex-wife’s love language. I didn’t know anything about the ‘Biblical roles of a husband & wife’. My mother-in-law lived with us for 5 years, 11 months, & 14 days.
I have the gene for Huntington’s Disease. Think of it like combining Alzheimer’s, ALS, & Parkinson’s.
I spent 10 years in a professional limbo. I was fired, passed over, pushed out, & laid off.
